The U.S. Center is a major public outreach initiative of the United States hosted by the Department of State to inform audiences around the world about the U.S. actions on climate change, whether they are attending the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Conference of the Parties (COP-21) in Paris or viewing our programs through the web. On Wednesday, December 2nd, the U.S. Center will be hosting a Climate and Health event in Paris, which will also be live streamed for those who cannot attend in person. This is a multi-media affair regarding U.S. efforts to protect health in the face of climate change, highlighting avenues for new and innovative partnerships. The event provides and an opportunity for health and medical professionals in academic centers to organize “watching parties” for your students. Find out more about the event below, or join the conversation via live stream on Wednesday, December 2nd at 11:45am EST (or 5:45pm in Paris).
