NOAA’s Climate and Health Webinar, Now Archived for Viewing

By path2positive

The NOAA Climate Stewards Education Project (CSEP) recently presented Getting Personal, Getting Real: Health in the Teaching of Climate & Earth Science via webinar, which is now archived for viewing. The webinar was presented by Dr. John Balbus, who is a part of Climate for Health's leadership circle. CSEP provides support for educators to execute climate stewardship projects with their audiences to increase understanding of climate science and practical actions to reduce the impact of climate change. Health educators can take advantage of CSEP in several ways, the simplest of which would be to introduce students to information on climate science via online tools and videos such as this one (below).
