“Having a community is the most important thing to help move action forward…and health professionals need to show up.” — Dr. Laalitha Surapaneni

The U.S. Call to Action on Climate, Health, and Equity launched in the summer of 2019, and now has support from more than 150 health organizations from across the country. With the right policies and investments today, we have the opportunity to realize our vision of healthy people in healthy places on a healthy planet. Health voices must be at the forefront of climate solutions to ensure a healthy and just future for everyone.

“We have worked as a movement organization very tied to the environmental justice movement in California and nationally, understanding that the fundamental demand of communities living on the front line has been about health.” — Martha Dina Arguello

“We need to vote like our life depended on it.” — Dr. Linda Rudolph
